Quotes
Prices on this site are Victorian mid-market bands to help you decide whether to ring. A quote is the price that applies. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless the quote says otherwise. GST is included unless the quote says it is extra.
Response times
Same day in Bendigo and next day within 100 km of Bendigo are targets for a technician travelling from Dandenong South, not a guaranteed arrival time. Load, weather, parts and site access can push a job. We will say so if we cannot make the target.
Service area and travel
The workshop is in Dandenong South. Bendigo and the towns listed on this site are a mobile run. Travel outside that run, or a second trip the same day, may attract a travel charge. Ask before we leave.
Service and repairs
A standard service is oil, air filter, oil filter, separator where due, belt check, safety valve test, drain check, leak inspection and a written report. Extra parts, oil type, after-hours attendance and work found once the machine is open are quoted or agreed before we do them where it is practical to stop. If the machine is down and waiting will cost you more, we will say what we intend to fit and why.
Parts
Parts remain our property until paid. Returns of unused, unopened stock may be accepted within 7 days; electrical and cut-to-length items are not returnable. Core charges, if any, are on the invoice.
New machines
Title passes on full payment. Manufacturer warranty applies to new equipment as stated on the invoice. We do not promise a factory dealer appointment for every brand listed on this site.
Hire
Hire starts when the unit leaves our yard or is delivered, and ends when we collect it or you return it in comparable condition, fuelled if diesel. Damage, contamination, missing fittings and dry-hire fuel are extra. You must have a suitable supply (phase, amps, site access) for the unit you booked.
Payment
Service and parts are due 7 days from invoice unless we have agreed account terms in writing. Hire is payable in advance unless we have agreed otherwise. We may suspend further work on overdue accounts. You pay the reasonable cost of recovery.
Site access and safety
You provide safe access, isolation where required, and a person who can speak for the site. We may leave if the site is unsafe.
Australian Consumer Law
If you are a consumer or small business protected by the Australian Consumer Law, you have rights that cannot be excluded. Goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. For a major failure you may reject and obtain a refund or compensation for the drop in value, or we may repair or replace. For a minor failure we may repair, replace or refund. Nothing on this site limits those rights.
Where the ACL allows, our liability for failure to comply with a guarantee on goods or services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use is limited to resupplying the services, repairing or replacing the goods, or paying the cost of that resupply, repair or replacement.
Liability we can limit
We are not liable for production loss, lost profit or other consequential loss except to the extent the ACL says otherwise or it was caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct. You still have your ACL remedies.
Cancellation
You may cancel a booked service before we travel; we may charge for parts already ordered. Hire cancelled after the unit has left the yard is charged as a day.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. If a court finds a clause unenforceable, the rest still applies.
